Employee Feature - Bethany Lewis

Bethany Lewis is a Neurological Occupational Therapist here at Cognitive FX.

She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University, and a master's degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah in 2009.  In 8 years of experience, Bethany has worked at a pediatric outpatient clinic in Beijing, China, and in skilled nursing facilities. She has extensive experience with home health patients, assisting individuals who have experienced strokes, TBIs, orthopedic injuries, and a variety of other concerns.

We asked Bethany a few questions about being part of the Cognitive FX Team and here are her responses.

What led you to Cognitive FX?

"I first heard about Cognitive FX from one of the other occupational therapists who works here.  I was fascinated to hear about the effectiveness of the program and the role Occupational Therapy plays here--it is a thoroughly unique and absolutely thrilling way of practicing this discipline that I am so passionate about."

What is your core focus here at Cognitive FX? How does what you do here contribute to treatment and outcomes?

"As an Occupational Therapist, I get to focus treatments on the goals and daily activities that are most important to my clients, and take a holistic, multi-sensory approach to helping them heal."

What do you feel makes what we do here so valuable?

"I LOVE how what we do here makes such a powerful and lasting impact on our clients' lives, allowing them to participate in the activities that mean the most to them."
